2012: Despite the Weather, AzOSA is Charging Ahead

All over Arizona the truth is marching on. No amount of snow in Scottsdale or fog in Casa Grande can stop the AzOSA program this month. Scroll down to see additional opportunities for you or your church.

Maricopa County

January 11 - 6:30 PM - Cave Creek: Fossils and Noah's Flood. Is the Noah story a myth, a fable, or a historical fact? Dr. Kezele delivers evidence supporting a world-wide flood as depicted in the Bible.

January 16 - 7:00 PM - Phoenix: Microscopic Design in Biology. See the stunning evidence for design in biology at the microscopic level. Mark Armitage, an electron microscope expert, will share his high magnification mcrographs of: the compound lenses of the eyes of trilobites, the microanatomy of the bombardier beetle defense system, the complex life cycles of microscopic parasites (which are immune transparent), and much more!  Design features galore -- the only explanation is an intelligent creator.

► January 17 - 7:00 PM - Tempe: God Saw That the Light Was Good. Based on recent peer-reviewed publications, this presentation illuminates the fascinating facts about firefly tissues that emit light.  Mark Armitage, the presenter, also showcases the Scanning and Transmission electron microscope work performed at his microscope laboratory that reveals amazing structures of the tiniest biological entities. His well-known "mystery substances" CDROM and his book, "Jesus Is Like My Scanning Electron Microscope" will be available.

► January 19 - 10:30 PM - Phoenix / Ariz Christian University: What Do These Stones Mean? A world class elecontron microscope expert, Mark Armitage (B.S., Education, M.S., Biology) develops a stirring analogy: "God commanded Joshua to build a monument in the middle of the camp during the crossing of the Jordan River. This monument was to be a memorial to all the nations of the Earth testifying to God's great mercy and power. Do we as parents/Christians build a monument to God's power in our camp, or does another large object dominate our living room? Later the Bible teaches that David chose five smooth stones to slay the ignorant God-defying giant in the land. You will be presented with five smooth stones of creation evidence that you and your family can use to slay the ignorant, God-defying giant called evolution that inhabits our land. This is great for students and scientists to attend!"

► January 25 - 6:30 PM - Cave Creek: Do You Have a Date with Carbon-14? Unwrapping the mysteries of the most overused and misunderstood method for determining the ages of fossils, rocks and earth formations. You can't really stand up against the doubters until you understand the myths and truths about Carbon-14 dating methods.  Dr. Kezele brings it home with power.

(3) Microscopic Design in Biology.

"Who, me?  Spiritual Warrior?" Absolutely!

Napoleon Bonaparte reportedly stated: "An army marches on its stomach."  Meaning:  troops cannot fight and win battles if they lack the necessary day-to-day supplies. The same is true for AzOSA.  We cannot thrive without delivering the materials to the people to press forward. Here's your opportunity to make the battles successful. AzOSA needs a person to manage the inventory for our stores, primarily the books and DVD’s. Your skills may fit just right! There are currently three stores, one each servicing Phoenix and Tucson, and one serving the new online store. Skills needed include the ability to learn how to use the new online database, along with a working knowledge of Word and Excel (or similar office programs). A good general knowledge of the Creation resources available would also be helpful. Please contact Dr. Kezele or Vern Hartz ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
